Earth Bodies: A Somatic Movement Experience

  • The Pantha Way 45 Wentworth Street Port Kembla Australia (map)

I am nature & nature is me.

When was the last time you felt completely alive in your body?

Not thinking about your body.
Not evaluating it.
Not trying to improve or change it.

Simply feeling and being in your body.

EarthBodies is an invitation to step away from everything we feel like our body “should” be and return to the sensory experience of being alive in a body.

Through guided somatic movement and embodied exploration, we become curious about sensation, impulse, movement and our relationship with the living world around us.

The human body is nature in motion. We respond to light, temperature, touch, rhythm, gravity, time and space. We are not separate observers of the natural world, but living bodies participating within it.

EarthBodies is a three-part movement inquiry into this relationship.
Across three 2 hour sessions, we move through re-sensitise, re-member and re-define. Within each session we will explore sensation, belonging and the boundaries between self and world.

02 RE-MEMBER

Saturday 21 November · 9.30-11:30am

A return to belonging.

Tending to our felt sense of belonging within the living world. We re-member ourselves as nature, natural bodies moving with the force of life.

Authentic Flow is an intuitive style of somatic movement that prioritises the “felt sense” of the body in movement over the structural alignment or visual experience. Informed by non-dual Tantrik philosophy the practice is led by the philosophical understanding of the interconnectedness of all things. That when you move, everything moves. The class unfolds as an exploration of the ongoing conversation between inner and outer awareness, through the tools of yoga asana, mantra, intuitive movement, elemental embodiment and soundscape. No two classes are ever the same as each arrives in a new moment, meeting you bodyheartmind in the direct sensory experience of the ever arising now.

Earth Bodies may be for you if...

You spend a lot of time in your head and are craving a deeper connection with your body.

You want to move without worrying whether you're doing it “correctly.”

You're tired of relating to your body through evaluation, appearance or achievement and want to meet it with curiosity instead.

You're longing to feel more present, sensate and alive.

About Aislinn Miles

Aislinn is a somatic movement facilitator and yoga teacher specialising in Authentic Flow, a practice that invites movement to arise from direct sensation and presence. She was trained in Authentic Flow in Portugal and is one of the few teachers currently facilitating this modality in Australia. Her classes blend breath, soundscape, and intuitive movement to support a deeper listening to the body. She creates grounded, spacious environments where students are encouraged to soften, explore, and move in ways that feel honest and alive.

Alongside her movement teaching, Aislinn works as an end-of-life doula within the funeral space and facilitates weekend deep ecology immersions, all of which inform the depth, presence, and attunement she brings to her facilitation.

In collaboration with Origin Movement

Origin is a global movement inviting people everywhere to reconnect with the Earth and with each other, through ceremony, music and regenerative action. Indigenous Elders from many nations sit at its heart, as keepers of an old truth: we belong to the Earth, and we can help it thrive.

On Saturday 17 October, thousands of people across the world join Origin's shared moment of unity — in parks, halls, gardens and living rooms. Earth Bodies begins that same morning. It's our way of bringing that spirit home to Port Kembla: a room full of bodies remembering they're part of nature, not separate from it.
