Class Styles

  • Align

    Cathartic. Focussed. Mindful.

Align is a hatha yoga class. It's ideal for those days when you want to cultivate awareness of movement and breath at a steady pace. These sessions are centred around not only conditioning the body, but can help improve temperament, discipline and mental focus.

Taken at a slower pace than our Flow class, this style is still strong and physically dynamic however the slower transitions between poses encourage mindfulness, resilience and self-compassion.

Align is a good option for newer students ready to explore their practice but your yoga teacher will provide modifcations and options for ALL levels.

  • Flow

    Dynamic. Energetic. Strengthening.

Flow is a medium to high intensity class.

This class combines the flowing style of Vinyasa ('movement with breath') with a series of strong and powerful postures. Each Vinyasa Flow class targets physical strength and flexibility throughout the entire body.

While maintaining a clear focus on alignment and awareness of breath, these classes build internal heat and aid to detoxify the body. Energising and nourishing, Flow will increase physical and mental discipline.

Expect to get your heart rate up in this uplifting class. Flow is most suited to those with some yoga experience but your yoga teacher will provide modifications for ALL levels.

  • Restore

    Relaxing. Passive. Nurturing.

A restorative class to unwind and de-stress.

Restore is the overarching category for our Yin + Restorative yoga experiences.

Yin Yoga is an ancient practice that is designed to stretch the body and work into the connective fascial tissue, a balance to the more dynamic Yang practices.

In a Yin class, floor poses are held for 3-5 minutes, each targeting joint and ligament stress and enabling muscles to soften. In holding poses for longer periods of time, Yin Yoga cultivates a sense of surrender.

Restoratve Yoga aids in complete relaxation with the use of props including blocks, bolsters, straps and blankets. The props allow you to be completely supported and comfortable, releasing all muscle engagement, promoting a relaxation response and stress reduction in the body.

A powerfully therapeutic class, Restore is ideal for highly active people - runners, cyclists, water sport enthusiasts, regular yoga practitioners - as well as anyone wanting to release tension in the body.

You will leave feeling lighter, more flexible and an open mind, body and heart.

Perfect for all levels of experience, even beginners.

  • Yang + Yin

    Balanced. Centering. Introspective

Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice – bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures.

Yin and Yang are the Taoist concepts which describe the two relative qualities present in everything.

Yin is more internal, passive, cooling and downward.

Yang is more external, dynamic, warming and upward.

When these terms are applied in yoga, Yin Yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer. It works on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body. Yang Yoga, in contrast, refers to a more active practice. This works on the (Yang) muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility. Yang styles of yoga are those with rhythm and repetition like Vinyasa Flow.

You will experience a sense of balance, calm and grounding, physically, energetically and spiritually as this combination can have a powerful effect on energy levels.

This class is suitable to all levels of experience but your yoga teacher will provide modifications and options for ALL levels

  • Yoga Nidra

    Deep. Healing. Meditative

Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation and meditation technique where the mind remains awake during the normally unconscious state associated with sleep.

This technique induces deep relaxation of the body & mind with the ultimate aim of increasing self-awareness. It is a technique that allows you to recharge, relax, rejuvenate and awaken your higher consciousness.

It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra can give the same benefit of a four-hour sleep.

As the body enters a healing state, you can clear up the toxins at a cellular level, refresh the mind and remove baggage from the subconscious.

  • Community Yoga

    United. Expansive. Connected

Community Yoga is a donation based yoga class held in being of service to the community, a value that is at the core of The Pantha Way's heart + business.

This is a donation based class with all proceeds going towards a local grass-roots cause we are deeply connected to. 100% of donations will be supporting local organisations/projects who are generously being of service to the community through their efforts of #consciousconnectionsandcommunity

Your yoga guide teaching is practicing their path of Bhakti Yoga, devoting their efforts + energy beyond themselves. We hope you are moved and inspired by their path and contribute a donation that honours this act of service.
