We intertwine the healing benefits of the movement medicine that is Yoga with a guided experience introducing you to the abstract & traditional healing practices of Aboriginal art.
What to expect:
✚ 15 min cultural awareness "dreaming circle" by Aboriginal Artist Wayne Ampetyane
✚ 45 min guided breath + yoga asana + meditation focussed on collective healing by Yoga Guide Catherine Tran
✚ 1 hour guided introduction to contemporary + traditional Aboriginal art

Who is this for?
Yoga & painting is for everyone and anyone who is willing & open to creative expression. No experience needed, all welcome.
What you will gain:
✚ You will learn the foundations of contemporary + traditional Aboriginal art techniques from the artist's own country.
✚ You will learn how to approach your Yoga Asana practice from a place of healing.
✚ This workshop will inform and educate you about our Nation's history. At its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.
✚ We hope to instil an experience of unity and connectedness on a level beyond the Self, through this experience you will have a deeper connection to this land, the suffering endured and how we can collectively raise our awareness and bring healing to all communities beginning with ourselves.
